The ITPro video player includes several options beyond basic playback to help you customize your learning experience. Here's a breakdown of what's available.
What options are in the video player settings menu?
Access the settings menu from the player controls to adjust video resolution, toggle captions on or off, change playback speed, and more.
What is Picture in Picture (PIP) mode?
Picture in Picture mode lets you watch a video in a floating window while using other apps or browsing. Toggle PIP mode using the switch in the episode overlay.
What is Auto-Play?
Auto-Play automatically moves to the next episode so you can keep learning without manually selecting videos. After every 3 episodes, ITPro will pause and ask if you need a break. Auto-Play can be toggled on or off from the episode overlay menu in the browser.
Note: Using Auto-Play can sometimes delay progress tracking. If you notice episodes not marking as complete, try turning Auto-Play off.
What is Skip Intros/Outros?
This feature skips the first and last 10 seconds of each episode, getting you back into the content faster. Toggle it on or off from the player settings.
What is Podcast Mode?
Podcast Mode switches the player to audio only, letting you listen to ITPro content while multitasking. Toggle it from the episode overlay.
Does ITPro support casting?
ITPro does not currently support casting via iOS, Android, or AirPlay.
